Harness and Fall Arrest

Overview

The NPORS Fall Arrest Harness course is designed to equip delegates with the knowledge to choose, inspect, fit and use a safety harness.

The Fall Harness course consists of both theory and practical instruction.

Requirements

At the end of the Fall Arrest Harness course you will take a short theory and practical assessment which, after successful completion will provide you with an NPORS card which is vaild for 3 years, together with the essential knowledge and insight into the design, testing and manufacturing processes, together with the skills to test damaged equipment.

Furthermore, this course will provide you with the correct legislation, guidance, standards and best practice to allow you to design an examination process and inspection report for all common work at height equipment. It is recommended that all delegates refresh their training every 3 years with the NPORS Fall Arrest Refresher Course.
